One early weekend morning we went to count birds. It was a monthly bird survey of Elster Creek. That day we recorded 50 species of birds, which is really not bad, as the record is 52, if I am not mistaken. Here’s what I managed to capture.
Australasian Shoveler – recorded for the first time in the area
Grey Teal female
Chestnut Teal female (I hope, I identified those right)
Nankeen Night Heron (3D)
Welcome Swallow
White-faced Heron
