We stayed at a free camp site full of people with kayaks. They were living in huge tens of which some served as a kindergarten. Nearly a small town.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/kengurija.luk.lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/KUKABARA-ZUDO-SASLYKA.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"KUKABARA-ZUDO-SASLYKA\" src=\"http:\/\/kengurija.luk.lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/KUKABARA-ZUDO-SASLYKA.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the morning we met three kookaburras who were demanding food from everybody. After they got a piece of raw meat they flew to the tree and were killing the meet while smashing it, like it was a lizard or other creature.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/kengurija.luk.lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/IMG_6686.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"IMG_6686\" src=\"http:\/\/kengurija.luk.lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/IMG_6686.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Kookaburras often take care of a nest in a company of three &#8211; the parents and the elder child.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/kengurija.luk.lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/IMG_6674.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"IMG_6674\" src=\"http:\/\/kengurija.luk.lt\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/IMG_6674.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"265\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We spent a night next to the river where we were bitten by sand flies. They are more orange around Adelaide. We were lucky to get a room near the CBD, even though, it was the Melbourne Cup that day.
